Kyle Strack
Kyle Strack is an artist based in Berkshire County, Massachusetts, whose work explores memory, light, and the experience of nature through clay. He earned a BFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2019.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world, Kyle creates sculptural ceramics that explore the connection between landscape, material, and memory. His work reflects the forms, textures, colors, and patterns found in nature while focusing on the emotions and experiences connected to time spent outdoors. Through hand-built forms, carved surfaces, and layered glazes, he creates objects that evoke moments of quiet observation, wonder, and reflection.
Working primarily with clay, Kyle uses the material’s tactile qualities to explore growth, erosion, movement, and transformation. Through his practice, he seeks to preserve the fleeting beauty of the natural world and invite viewers to reconnect with their own experiences, memories, and connections to nature.
